The following profiles are tested and decode correctly:
Files usually arrive in MOV containers from cameras and editing software such as Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve. MKV files with ProRes tracks also read correctly. ProRes RAW is not supported.
Browsers do not come with a ProRes decoder, which is why ProRes files usually show as unplayable.

No. The file is read locally and decoded on your device. Nothing is uploaded and no server processes the footage. If you want to verify this, load a file and then disconnect from the network. Playback keeps working.
All four ProRes 422 profiles play correctly: Proxy, LT, 422 and 422 HQ. ProRes 4444 plays as well, including transparency where the file has it.
